Celebrate Independence Day - July 4th

Have a fun and safe weekend as we celebrate Independence Day on Saturday, July 4. Here are a few activities happening in the area this weekend:

• Fireworks - Minneapolis Red, White and Boom – Friday, July 3 & Saturday, July 4. Water Power Park - A two-day celebration along the downtown riverfront featuring live music, food and fireworks. Click here for more information.

• Festival – Saturday, July 4 @ 12 p.m. Inaugural People’s Festival will be held in Powderhorn Park. The People’s Festival is a people-powered event that celebrates our interdependence and all activities and entertainment from the greater Powderhorn community. Click here for more information.

• Parade and Picnic - Saint Paul: Fourth in the Park – Saturday, July 4 @ 8 a.m. - Annual July 4 parade and picnic in St. Paul’s St. Anthony Park neighborhood—the capital city’s only Independence Day parade.

• Fireworks - St. Paul: 4th of July Fireworks — July 4 @ 8 p.m. Free fireworks display at the State Capitol Mall. Note: the fireworks will not be visible from the Mississippi River area.

• Other area Independence Day activities and fireworks displays: Apple Valley, Blaine, Bloomington, Chanhassen, Eagan, Eden Prairie, Edina, Excelsior, Fort Snelling, Lakeville, Richfield, St. Louis Park, White Bear Lake.
